On-line Reservations
All requested information must be submitted when placing your booking on our secured site. When our company receives your on-line reservation, you will receive your confirmation of booking by return via e-mail. So please ensure that you submit your correct e-mail address. If by any chance, your confirmation of booking is not sent back to you, then please contact us via email on enquiries@cheapvehiclerental.com

Cancellation Policy 
A minimum of 24-hours notice is required for cancellation of booking and will incur a 10% percent charge from the total cost of the booking value or £35 + VAT. Cancellations made on the day of hire will still be charged at the full rate, no refunds will be given. CVR reserves the right to cancel any booking at our own discretion without giving prior notice, all bookings are subject to status, availability and terms and conditions.

Accidents and Damage to Vehicles
It is the hirer's responsibility to notify our office immediately of any accidents or damage to the vehicle that is on hire and all third party details must be provided as soon as possible. In the event of the hired vehicle requiring bodywork repairs, then the hirer will forfeit the insurance excess that applies. Any overhead height damage will be charged in full + loss of rental use whilst vehicle is off road. Overhead height damage is not covered by insurance. 

Breakdown call outs
In the event of a vehicle breaking down you should be provided with a number to call. However, if you call a breakdown crew out, with no due reason, and no fault is found during their inspection you may be charged for the service.

Fines/Penalties
Any parking/speeding or congestion charges are the sole liability of the hirer. Please note an administration fee will apply. If you are travelling in the congestion area you must inform the office so that we can get the congestion fee paid for you, we will then charge you separately for the day. Then failure to do so will result in you incurring an extra administration fee.

Walk Ins
In some cases you may have to walk into the branch to pick up your own vehicle. You will be informed of this in advance. This does not amount to any money being refunded from your booking due to, as it states above, delivery and collection being free.

Going Abroad
A green card/AA Europe Assist will be supplied for customers to take the vehicle abroad. This charge will automatically be added to the rental cost. Under no circumstances should a vehicle be taken out of the UK without the written consent or authorisation of the company

Additional Drivers 
There is a charge for additional drivers; the price varies depending on the vehicle. Please check with the reservation agent at time of booking.

Requirements to Rent a Vehicle
You must be aged between 22 and 70. When the car is delivered, you will need to produce a valid driver's license which has been held for 2 years or more and two official additional forms of identification e.g. passport, utility bills, bank/card statements, tenancy agreements and company id etc. Utility bills must be valid within the last three months. if you hold a UK license, provide the Photocard and Counterpart otherwise it will not be valid

Endorsements
Providing you have no major endorsements on your license, and do not have more than 6 points in the last 12 months, you should not have any problems. We class major endorsements as drink driving (DR), careless driving (CD), dangerous driving (DD), amongst others. If you are unsure, please contact us.

Unlimited Mileage
Mileage restrictions will apply to vehicles travelling abroad and long terms rental please check for details.

Deposit/Excess
Every vehicle hire requires a deposit and our insurance carries an excess depending on the vehicle size, please check for details if unsure. The Hirer can purchase collision damage waiver please call for details if required.
